Alves Bandeira Group presents Albi Solidário as another social responsibility project promoted by the Group, with the main purpose of promoting justice and social equity through an approach based on the circular economy.

Following the launch of Maravilhas da Nossa Terra, this is yet another project resulting from the initiative of the employees of the 100% Portuguese Group, born out of the certainty that we are all called to play a more active role in our society, especially in helping those who need it most and are in a more fragile situation.

In short, Albi Solidário is today a platform through which companies and individuals can participate as donors or recipients of essential products for the well-being of any person, such as clothing, shoes, toys, food, among others. Functionally, Albi Solidário allows any person or entity with access to the platform to place an order completely free of charge, with a single click and without any transport costs.

In this initial phase, the platform is restricted to the more than 1,000 employees of the Group and some social associations. Nevertheless, any company, entity, or individual can participate as a donor to the platform.

"At Grupo Alves Bandeira, we believe that small gestures can trigger great changes. Albi Solidário is a clear example of how a simple project can have a significant impact. The adhesion of employees and the involvement of various partners and companies in donating products has been the greatest example of this. By encouraging the donation of items that are no longer useful to us but could be essential for someone else, we knew we could create a truly supportive movement while also promoting a more sustainable economy. To be honest, the response we received from day one clearly exceeded our best expectations, especially from our employees and some major national companies, which already required us to increase the available storage space,” says Pedro Mascarenhas, Marketing Director of Grupo Alves Bandeira.
